Enjoy a race through scenic downtown Milford and help keep art in our area! On Saturday, October 31 2026, Mispillion Art League and Seashore Striders will host the 9th Annual Run for the Arts 5K RUN/1M Fun Walk! The run begins at 9:00 AM in Bicentennial Park in downtown Milford, next to Arena’s and Surf Bagel. 206-218 NE Front St. Milford, DE 19963.
Runners are encouraged to pre-register online. $25 pre-registration is due by 10:00 pm Oct. 30. $30 race-day registration opens at 7:30 a.m.

Event t-shirts will go to pre-registered participants (Limited availability after the Monday of race week. First come, first served).
Not a runner or walker? Professional sleepwalkers can stay in bed and make a contribution to an arts organization!
Proceeds benefit Mispillion Art League, a Milford-based nonprofit 501(c)(3). The group offers classes, exhibit opportunities, a gallery open to the public, a gift shop featuring local artisans’ work, and an entirely free art festival for the past 7 years annually. The organization works with groups like Salvation Army Creative HeARTs and Kent-Sussex Industries, to create free art education opportunities for under-served and disabled people locally. Also, children and seniors age 55+ have access to multiples monthly workshops at a discounted price.
