Central Delaware Blues Society Jam

Overview

The Central Delaware Blues Society hosts Blues Jams on Thursdays at Del Vets Post #2. Here are the details: 

• With a few exceptions for holidays — every Thursday from 7-10; doors open at 6
• A “jam” is when the host band (from schedule) plays the first set (usually 7-7:45) and then the jam starts at 8.
• Musicians should sign in when they arrive. 
• The jam offers musicians and vocalists of all abilities the chance to play/sign in front of a friendly and forgiving audience. 🙂 We have a jam “MC” who pulls different musicians together to play 2-3 songs before another configuration is put together. We always have full-time musicians show up and participate, so the novices get to play with people they may not have in their orbit, so to speak. Everyone helps each other and has a great time.
• There is no cost to attend or participate, although a donation at the door is appreciated to help pay the band. Del Vets Post 2 has their kitchen open from 6-7:30; the bar is open until everything is over.
