Featuring live ice sculpting, entertainment, food vendors, and a showcase of local businesses, the festival aims to kick off and spotlight Dover’s ongoing revitalization efforts while creating a memorable experience for attendees. This event combines art, culture, and community spirit, positioning Dover as an exciting regional destination. The Biggs Museum of American Art will also be open during the hours of the festival, featuring:
– Indoor Artist market and pop-up

– Children’s crafts

– Family fun indoor and outdoor art and culture scavenger hunts with prizes

– Access to all collections and special exhibit galleries

The Winterfest Festival, free & open to the community, will be a fun filled event featuring interactive ice sculptures, vendors, food trucks, a kid’s zone,  music, entertainment, and more! Throughout the festival, all are invited to visit The Hive on Loockerman (at 28 W. Loockerman St.) to take a break and learn more about the transformation of Downtown Dover over the next several years!  https://tinyurl.com/CapitalCity2030
