The 13th annual Delaware Tech Terry Campus Chocolate 5k Run/Walk, a sweet event for the whole family, will take place on campus Saturday, February 8, 2025. There is also a virtual option for those who would like to participate remotely. Proceeds support the Terry Campus Student Emergency Fund.
The entry fee is $35 until February 5 at noon and $40 thereafter, including race day. Race-day registration opens at 8 a.m.
This family-friendly event offers a 5k run/walk on a single loop USATF-certified course and a free Kiddie K for children under 10 years old. The Kiddie K starts at 9:50 a.m., followed by the 5k run/walk at 10 a.m.
Following the run/walk, everyone can warm up inside the Del-One Conference Center with an awards ceremony and the opportunity to indulge in homemade hot chocolate and chocolate treats prepared by students in the campus culinary arts program.
Additional amenities include an event T-shirt designed by a student in the College’s visual communications program.
