Overview

The Aquatic Resources Education (ARE) Center is operated by the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife, with a focus on wetlands, fishing, horseshoe crabs and other aquatic education themes. Located in the scenic Woodland Beach Wildlife Area, the facility features several ponds, a 940-foot tidal salt marsh boardwalk and various other natural areas, offering a prime venue for exploring the Delaware Bay coastal ecosystem and the abundant wildlife it supports.
