3 Palms Zoo & Education Center isn’t a polished theme park; it’s a hands-on rescue sanctuary. They take in animals that need a second chance—from former pets whose owners could no longer care for them to non-releasable native wildlife. You aren’t just looking through glass—you are interacting. You can hand-feed the friendly farmyard crew and meet animals that were often human-raised and eager to say hello. The birds are free-range and will walk right up to you, so don’t be intimidated—just enjoy the connection!
