The patriotic mural in Veterans’ Cove is currently being painted by local artist Heather Reaves with the help of MSC members, and is a creative celebration of America’s Semiquincentennial. Along with honoring our Nation’s military, the mural includes significant historical contributions by the State of Delaware and the City of Milford. Veterans’ Cove is a welcoming open-concept room dedicated to the men and women that have served our Nation.
Donors can be assured that their contribution will make a lasting impact by supporting ongoing activities at the Center, including a much-needed overhaul of Veterans’ Cove. Additionally, it will serve as an educational experience for visitors and local students.
Much of the Center’s membership is comprised of Veterans that currently pay $25/year for membership dues. Funds raised through the Mural Project’s Independence Visionary Partner sponsorship level will allow us to offer free memberships for our Veteran members for years to come.
