The Dover Art League is thrilled to present the third exhibit in the Holden Gallery since its reopening – “Strange Flesh & Other Fantasies: Drawings & Prints by Josh Nobiling.”
Join us for the open reception on Saturday February 8th @ 5pm in the Holden Gallery. Meet the artist and see these works up close (it’s a must)!
Josh Nobiling is a visual artist living in Dover. He is an assistant professor of art at Delaware State University where he teaches drawing, painting & printmaking. In his personal art work, Josh uses a variety of drawing and painting techniques to create grotesque abstract compositions he calls strange flesh or nothing things. The imagery often contains dense, intricate texture suggesting forms that create more questions than answers.
